Peanuts – Aflatoxin Tested

Perhaps the most popular choice of bird feed there is, and for good reason too. Very high in oil and protein, they are one the most energy efficient foods available to our much loved garden birds. It doesnt matter whether its hot or cold, hang up a peanut feeder, full of energy packed nuts, and in no time at all youll have birds of all shapes and sizes pecking away.

It is very important that when you offer peanuts to birds, you do so in the correct way. Always use a feeder, as little birds with big appetites could well choke on whole nuts – an easily avoidable accident. Here at Happy Beaks were just as safety conscious, which is why our peanuts have been tested against aflatoxin; a potentially fatal chemical that can cause serious damage to the liver and immune systems of wild birds.
